PRE-FINISHED FLOORS
Pre-finished wood floors are fabricated and coated in a factory. They are shipped to the appropriate user and installed accordingly. Some of the factory finishes today, whether it is a laminate or solid product, are some of the highest quality flooring options available, with some carrying as much as a 20-year warranty.

UNFINISHED FLOORS
The selection of an unfinished wood floor will enhance your home, business, or office in a multitude of ways. The selection of an “unfinished” floor means that the wood floor has to be installed, then sanded and finished accordingly with the appropriate stain, sealer and varnish. These items are selected based upon the final look of the wood floor, as well as the use of the wood floor for its particular application. The type of wood floor (species of wood) will have different characteristics, density, hardness and softness. It is important to have a detailed discussion about your needs with your Gifford rep.
