Gifford wood floors has been in operation installing wood floors for satisfied customers for over 100 years. From generation to generation, the Gifford family has been passing down the secrets of the trade. As previously stated on this website, we have been doing wood floors before carpet was an approved surface. We pride our selves doing the highest quality in workmanship and craftsmanship that is available in the Northwest today. One of our clients made joke not too long ago, “My piano is not a Steinway, but my floors were by Gifford.” That sounds a little bit funny, but we all know you do not walk on a Steinway; but you do walk on a floor. Here at Gifford we go out of our way to give you that same level of craftsmanship that we would want in our own homes.
Our Company Culture
At Gifford all of our projects are a team effort, from the initial conversations and collaboration, to the project planning and all the way down to the final installation, the team is involved in every level. From our sales personnel, to accounting, the superintendent and dispatching, to the foreman to the close out documents, no role or step is placed in higher importance than another.
THE GIFFORD DIFFERENCE
We at Gifford pride ourselves in generational training, and having our people attend the appropriate installation and refinishing seminars. All of our technicians have been through an apprenticeship program they must go through in order to become a journeyman/craftsman. Along with well-trained and supported employees and technicians, we pride ourselves on providing an amazing custom flooring solution that will be on time and on budget. You can’t go wrong when experience, quality workmanship, and efficiency all come together. This is the Gifford Difference.
OUR WARRANTY AND GUARANTEE
We at Gifford floors warranty the installation of our wood floors. We guarantee correct installation and/or sanding and refinishing. Our warranty stays in effect indefinitely as long as we do any and all repairs and refinishing. We do not offer warranty coverage of damage caused by others and items that are outside of our control. Our warranty is transferable to the next owner of your home or business.

Gifford Industries is a certified member of The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) for our floor care products. MFMA helps support the wood flooring industry by providing resources and technical assistance like grade standards, guide specifications, management practices, and floor care recommendations for wood flooring sealers and finishes. As a certified member of MFMA, our clients can rest assured knowing that our supply is sourced from responsibly managed forests in the U.S. and manufactured to produce some of the highest quality hard maple flooring found on the market today.
